A crown is a full coverage restoration used to protect and strengthen a damaged tooth. Cracked, worn, severely decayed and poorly shaped teeth are often best treated with crowns. Crowns are custom made, look natural, and are very strong once bonded into place. The sooner a damaged tooth is repaired, the less likely the tooth will break or require root canal treatment.

Bridges literally bridge the gap created by one or more missing teeth. A bridge is comprised of two crowns covering the natural teeth or implants on either side of the gap and a false tooth in between.
